We cover a wide range of musical compositions and genres. We have seasonal programs for spring, national holidays,  Lucia and Christmas. We sing arrangements that are fairly current and some that date back to the 13th century. Most importantly though, we sing because we have a lot of fun doing it. We just enjoy singing!

What people are saying
“Wow! What a CD! A great selection of songs and great singers! Niklas Björling Rygert is terrific!” – Wivan Sundman, WVOF 88.5 FM, Fairfield CT
Vasa Drangar 20th Anniversity CD

Thank you again for the gift of Vasa Drängar’s new recording. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. The men and instrumentalists all did a good job in both performing and getting it well recorded. Björling is quite a tenor! Wow; what a voice. Also the quartet’s performance of Morley’s “Now is the Month of Maying” was very well done and fun to hear. I think that is the first time I’ve ever heard “Clarinet Polka” with a bayan – very interesting and fun also. Obviously there are many delightful selections, but I obviously enjoyed the Swedish songs the most. The sympathy and resonance with he language and culture really came rolling through to the listener. Again, I really appreciate having the recording and will enjoy “re-hearing” it for years to come.

Join Atlanta men’s choir Vasa Drängar

We are always looking for great singers. You don’t have to be Swedish or even know Swedish to join us. You should be able to sing well, be interested in learning a little Swedish, and having fun. We would love to have you come audition and join the choir. We practice Monday nights from 7:30-10:00pm in Atlanta off I-75N just inside I-285.
